Preparing for Birth Class
This four-week childbirth class is designed to help you feel informed, confident, and truly prepared for labor, birth, and life with your baby.
In a relaxed, supportive environment, we walk you through what to expect, explore your options, and give you practical tools you can actually use. Along the way, you’ll learn from real conversations, shared experiences, and the questions other parents didn’t even know they needed to ask.
And yes—you’ll learn a lot… but we also promise you’ll actually enjoy coming each week.
Topics presented and discussed include:
- Understanding Labor & Birth: Know what’s happening in your body, what’s normal, and how to make informed decisions throughout labor and birth.
- Comfort Strategies: Hands-on techniques, breathing, positioning, and tools to help you cope, stay grounded, and work with your body.
- Life with Baby: What postpartum actually looks like—plus newborn care, feeding, sleep, recovery, and what you really need to feel supported.

My husband and I took this course in order to prepare for the arrival of our baby boy, and we are so glad we did. We learned a lot about the labor process and what we can expect in order to help us best achieve our labor plan. We also learned a lot about what to expect post partum.
Highly recommend if you want to feel prepared!
